not many around portsmouth aswell..had a look in the dockyard last weekend,,afraid to say not to much of intrest there these days,,two weeks there and not one ship seen at sea..

sad state of affairs isn't it? At least we served when we had a Navy- lets just hope we don't get a repeat of 1939, we got very close to losing that one due to lack of fighting equipment - getting that way again it seems :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: I wonder if the so called leaders will ever learn?

been for my navy news today,,i have it every month, soon be not worth having as so few ships to talk about and the price keeps rising £3,20 a time now..used to take me a week to read, now its half an hour..

Don't do to get to maudling mate - yer're a young man yet, unless you start thinking that way o' course! Me? I had me fortune told a couple of times and they both said I was going to live until I'm 92 so I've got ages yet! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: mind you looking at my old man who's now 97 and starting to lose it if I get that way 92 will do! Mind you he's had a good life, that's what matters!

not allowed any these days mate.. a glass of cider and thats my lot..and yet every time we go out shopping she says get another bottle of spirits in cabinet full of the bloody stuff..
