Aye well, I didn't know they had a football team of any use, looks like maybe they haven't! As for the Chiefs the won last year, can't expect to win every year (it would of course have been nice) so we'll just have to try a little bit harder for next year!

The trouble with Plymouth Albion as I remember it was the fact that they were about 80% serving matelots and booties etc. I believe they went through a period were all the service members were away attending some war or other, seems they used to do that a lot, still do I think, the trouble is these days if they ain't away blowing some bugger up the government disbands 'em! The team took the hit badly and sort of faded out of existence, might be coming back now but not as good as they were. No the Chiefs are the TEAM of the moment, they guy who runs them also owns them and spent a few years building them up carefully, then when the time was ripe and with a nice new stadium released them on an unsuspecting world! The other sucess story is Torquay United, struggled at the bottom of the league for many years and finely got chucked out of the league, according to one of the chaps who uses the local and is fairly big in the Team, they are now getting all sorts of offers and doing very well - on paper at least - might even manage to play decent football next season! They've gone from bottom of the heap to best of the also rans virtually overnight!

The old Chief and PO with a bottle of milk for breakfast! Bloody handsome, better than the an Egg banjo in the overheads, pull it down for breakfast and get a couple of covkies in your hammock!
