49 years ago today i started on my months demob leave.. left victroy barracks 9 am ran to the station to get my train, one week later i started to work for a living..so ended my my time in the navy... :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

Ran to the station to get your train? Must have been desperate to get back into yer hole in the ground! Even the Pompey sunshine was too strong for ye was it! So that's why ye dislike garlic so much!

But basically you are nowt but a myoptic bunnie! Good for you mind, at least you found something you liked and it seems were good at! So did I with some 37 years at sea (10 in the Andrew and the other 27 in the MN - I'm not counting time spent fishing and crabbing or driving a pilot boat mind! Then onto Health and Safety - now that was fun, especially as it was in the Construction Industry where the pay was generally good!

i think i retired at the right time, as pensions go im doing just fine..im finding it hard to get rid of it, soon have to buy anther pig to put it in.. only said to the wife today she will soon need another purse,

Aye all woment are the same, as I've said in the past to various women I've been with, just because you have it doesn't mean you have to spend it, save some for a rainy day - so they wait until a few drops of rain hit them and off down the shops they go! daft buggers!
